Non 12 step Rehab Centers?
Hey all,
Does anyone know of a great rehab that's NOT 12 Step based? I'm looking for 90 days but if it's highly recommended I would consider a shorter stay. I'm a 41 year old heroin addict who's been in and out of Narcotic Anonymous for 2 years and I've done 3 stints at 30 day rehabs (who were 12 Step based).
I want to try something different. I'm a science based person and I feel the 12 steps are out dated. Please...if anyone could recommend a facility I would be very grateful. Thank you!!
Regards,
Rdphish

There is a book you might wanna check out. It's called Inside Rehab by Anne Fletcher. I have read two of her books, but not this one. She usually keeps up with info and details on all the different recovery options out there.
I've never been to rehab, but I did consider going for my drinking, and I was determined to only use a non-12-Step program. I did some research on non-12 Step rehabs, and I considered St. Jude retreats. The Fix website has reviews of a number of rehabs, both non-12-Step and 12-Step, so you may want to start there.
The best advice I can give is google 'non 12 step rehab'.
I usually recommend the national database of treatment facilities but that won't break it into 12 step and non 12 step for you, so I think you'll need to do your own research to find one within a reasonable price range.
