After years of denying I have a problem, I decided on August 19th that I have too many good things and good people in my life to lose over alcoholism. I haven't had a drink since then, been seeing a psychologist and am going to my first AA meeting this weekend. I feel much better physically, after a couple of days of withdrawals, but I realize the big battle is going to be in my head. Thanks for listening.
