By the way, don't be embarrassed, most of us read it through your eyes. No worries. Still, might be sage advice you gave yourself regarding the posts. The last thing you want is him to come across something online he was embarrassed about.

sorry I said anything, I can't be the only person whose husband looks at porn - every guy I've been with looks at some, never met a man who doesn't.
No need to be embarrassed. Congrats on 45 days.

I told my husband about this site and I invited him to look at it so he could see what it was all about. He can easily find it himself with a search just like I found SR.

There is a family section. Maybe he'd like to read some of that and see how good he's got it.

I am also a very chatty person. That's the first thing I noticed about this site. They stay very to the point on recovery. Which is good and nothing wrong with that. I have more than once deleted before posting because I wrote out t.m.i. I'm starting to get into the swing of how things work on here.lol

Porn= something I couldn't tolerate my dh viewing on a regular basis. I can tolerate lots, but that and cheating is something I can't handle.

Well I delete probably most of what I write lol...oh dear, if I posted everything I wrote! but this morning I hadn't been on here as much as usual and then I got too chatty.

Well it's possible the porn excess is because I was ignoring him most of the time when drinking although I think a lot predates me. That said, he's hardly had any girlfriends. I think he's had lots of dry periods and perhaps it accumulated during those times. I don't want to forbid it, I would just like him to ease up but he seems to have, well at least gotten rid of it on his computer.

All sorts of issues are now coming up because I am sober. It's like our marriage needs to detox and purge itself while we get healthy.

Come to think of it, he often said it the past few years, oh never mind because I know you don't want to hear it. He was never able to discuss anything with me. Well, now we are discussing!

Hi. I am a spouse of an A. I have not read through this entire thread, but I was wondering if you have suggested him to utilize this site as well? The Friends and Family Forum could be a great help to him and maybe he would find the support he needs too.

Personally, I would rather my H be on here than FB or some other social site.

Be well!
