I love posts like this! This shows that quitting and living happy, healthy, and free are possible no matter how bad the addiction got and how much damage was done.

The swelling went down about a month into sobriety, 2 weeks after discharge. It took 2 weeks of physical therapy to walk straight again. All lab results are normal, now. I was sent home with a walker..but I never had to use it .
