My sincere thanks to everyone for the kind words and encouragement! I come to SR everyday to receive support and try my best to be supportive. This site helped keep me grounded in the early days of recovery and I'm very grateful for SR. My hope with this post was to inspire others and show that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that sobriety is nothing to be afraid of.

I also shared this post on my Facebook page and the response has been overwhelming and I just received a message from a friend that she too is on day 3 of her journey, but was afraid to tell anyone and the post inspired her! I think more of us need to share our stories and journey so that others can see that there is healing and hope! Time to come out of the closet : )
