Need help with opiate addiction
HI Everyone-new to site so if I should ask this question elsewhere, please let me know. My nephew-he's 23 senior in college-should have graduated in Dec-did not. He has an addiction to oxcycoton, now he takes these IV(found syringe caps and track marks - I'm desperately trying to help him-I think he's been using for 2 years, escalated the past year. Question and if sounds dumb please forgive-when he sleeps for days, is that withdrawal? How long does the high last before another hit-and I'm sure that's diff for everyone-Bathroom, he constantly goes to bathroom-is that b/c he takes them or b/c he's coming off them? What is best advice you could give me to help him see his addiction? ANY ADVICE is appreciated. He started outpatient rehab for 4 hrs a day 2 weeks ago-forced actually as much as I could force him, it's not going great- Any advice? Please. |
