Just checking in! It's been a long time since I've visited the boards so thought I'd pop in Things are going very well and while I still think about drinking daily, the thoughts are more fleeting. Not drinking has become very routine for me. I started exercising (yoga and cardio) since quitting and I credit that with the transition.

I have really embraced sober living and am enjoying my family, job, and life more. I think for me, drinking caused a lot of problems and ironically, I thought it helped my problems for a long time. I know I am still very early in my sobriety and am highly aware that relapse is possible however, am cautiously optimistic.

Congrats on 71 days, we share the same sobriety date. Sober life is much better. Alcohol is one big conjob, nothing but lies. True happiness lies in sobriety and being in the moment, for the good and bad.
