Smile Controlling my Craving saved me today!

I woke up Friday morning from a vivid using dream, I was freaked out sweeting and could almost taste it so nasty. I got ready for work and the craving stated to slowly start to chase me got to work and a salesperson found a little baggy of meth and I saw it and that craving intensified I walk out of the office walk to gas station across the street and told myself 5 reasons why I shouldn't relapse then 10, 20 I got to 37 reasons why I shouldn't and felt so much better.

Realizing a a had a craving and then working to stop it really made the difference today with out this tool I would have relapsed today

Even now I'm writing this because my craving is still present right now and needed to get this off my chest

Thank you,

one thing that I learned this time around in sobriety is

be ready at any time to take a walk and get out of there

Congratulations Stan.

Cravings do eventually pass.

Well done.

Find some other addicts who are abstinent and contact them when you get your next one.

That helps me.
