Headaches?

Is it common to get so many headaches after stopping drinking? Today is day 4, and I've had alot of stress (marital stuff) the last few days, but that's calmed down alot. I never got headaches (unless from hangovers, of course...), until the last week. I was hoping that once the stress calmed down, which it has, the headaches would go away

I experienced all sorts of things in the first few weeks, the body simply needs time to adjust, but it can't repair or heal years of drinking in a matter of days, it's going to take time!!

Anything really concerning though should be checked out by a doctor, just to be safe!!

I'm only on day 16, but I had bad headaches for the first week then they started fading, which was really hard when I had them. Glad to be done with them. It's tuff, but we will make it...

It was common for me, for sure.
If you're concerned do see your Dr, if only to set your mind at rest

I remember having headaches and other aches and pains, but it got better the longer I stayed sober. See your doctor if they don't stop, or get worse.
