Celebrating 90 Days Sober

Hi all! I am celebrating 90 days sober on Monday! I am so very excited and so proud of myself. It has been a long road, but I take one day at a time and push through to maintain my sobriety. Because I hit 90 days on Monday, I would like to do something a little special for myself. I was thinking of buying a cake and balloons as something small just to acknowledge my accomplishment. Any other ideas out there that others have done at the 90-day mark? I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

That's fantastic! Hmmmm....you should buy yourself something special. Try to add up all the money you saved by not drinking and then spend a little on yourself. New shoes? New outfit? New CD? Just treat yourself. :-) You deserve it!

Are you working any kind of program?

Great job on your upcoming 90 day milestone!

I think the cake and balloon thing is a good idea. I am quite a bit behind you otherwise I could give additional advise, lol.

Do something just for you. 90 days is a huge accomplishment

Soberaj18. Great job achieving 90 days. It's inspirational to someone on their 27th day. 90 days seems so far away, but it will likely arrive before I know it. On my 90th day sober I will buy myself a new motorcycle helmet with all the money I don't spend on booze. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing. Resolv

Well done on 90 days sober. For advice, I suggest not letting down your guard. Take a few moments each day to remind yourself why you stopped drinking.

Congrats! I hit 90 on the 8th, but I'm holding off celebrating until next Tuesday....100!

But, someone above posted true, don't let your guard down. I think about where I am now, and never forget where I came from, before I go to sleep.

Anyway,

Great job! Definitely do something special! You will deserve it... Just remember tho that one day at a time means one day at a time not... Today is wednesday and I'm already thinking about next monday Usually on 90days its a great idea to speak at a meeting if youre attending. "Speaker bait" as many say at meetings... But only do what youre comfortable with and remember its youre time to celebrate so do what you enjoy! I like the cake idea!

Congrats ! It would be even better to share your cake with another sober person who can appreciate the benefits of being sober with you.

Congratulations, that is amazing! How about a spa day? You've taken such good care of yourself by not drinking, why not give it a little extra push with a nice massage and facial?

congrats on 90 days! and YES, treat yourself!!! take some of the $$$ that would have been spent on poison and get yourself a cake and balloons! you deserve and earned it!
I'm just past the 90 day mark and last weekend I got my hair done (totally changed colour and style) and also bought new glasses. Cost a small fortune for the both but money WELL spent.

go for it! celebrate!!
