Hi and welcome. The basic of sobriety wherever you go is not to pick up the first drink, if we don’t we don’t have to try to get sober AGAIN. When I was fogged in as a result of my drinking I thought that statement was meant for others because I was unique. Bad thinking!
You can get a lot of help here reading these forums and perhaps going to AA meetingS.
By learning what triggers us to drink we can be aware of what to look out for. Getting sober and staying sober is work and I found it easier on my emotions than drinking. Besides I don’t suffer well.
BE WELL

Kookum, I recommend nipping the slip ups in the bud. The sooner you stop drinking and return to recovery/sobriety the easier it will be. As opposed to waiting and continuing to drink. Consider ceasing drinking ASAP, regroup, figure out what went wrong and try again. Resolv
