weightloss

My stomach seems to be shrinking.... im scared to get on the scale lol.... i don't know if i lost pounds but i definitely feel like i lost inches in my mid area..... my daughter even noticed.... has anyone else noticed weight loss

I lost a lot of weight. I went from 135 to 119 in a year after I quit drinking. I've been sober 5 years now and weigh 124. I'm 5 foot 4. I feel great.

Yay for you! That's awesome. I found what you lost though. It's all the ice cream I've been eating.

Guilty! Eating the ice cream right now. Yes, some pounds came off. Not sure how much really, but now I can wear pretty much the entire wardrobe and not just the choice few pairs of pants

I shoveled pounds of junk food down my throat in addition to all the calories of booze during my active drinking career. Ended up gaining 50+ pounds in those days. I definitely lost weight quitting. Especially since I was sober to make better food choices and to exercise as well.
