Great news Dee, this new place does sound better.

Sorry to hear you're still poorly though. I hope you shake it off soon.

I'm looking forward to hearing what this new place is like!
Much love to you x

Dee, that's great news on the house! I know you'll be ecstatic once this part is finally put behind you.

Some times the chips fall in the right direction... "well after office hours, I got an email from the Dept of Housing...I have a house offer"

Hope you feel better soon.

Fabulous news Dee (apart from the flu). It will be sad to move away from the sea, but I live 200 meters from it and barely go there, the closest I get is to the running machine that looks out onto it. Some things are meant to be Dee, after all this time waiting on the list, what a better time to happen..........and fabulous to not be locked into a private landlord.

I couldn't think of a better person for this turn of luck to happen to. Now get well soon cause you've got boxes to pack.

xx

Dee, this is simply meant to be, and your attitude shows that you are ready to embrace life in the city.

I couldn't be happier for you, my friend.

Hope you feel better soon, and am very glad for the good news. I lived less than a mile from the beach, loved it, and will go back. Right now I'm never where I expected, but I love it - I pray that you will feel the same.

Love, hugs and prayers,

Amy

Finally!

Really relieved and happy to hear this good news, Dee. I am only sorry it took so long.

There is an adventurer tone in your post. You sound excited to turn the page!

The city will be better for having you back in it. Who knows what is in your next chapter?

Can't wait to hear.

In the meantime, get better soon!

xoxo Eq.

Brother sorry to hear you will have to depart from the the sea, I too once lived by the sea what a magical and wonderful experience for me waking up daily to a a view of the most majestic and awesomeness of the ocean.

I worked for a nonprofit for over a year I was disability advocate for over a year for children with disabilities. I have a daughter with numerous disabilities, she is profoundly disabled in many ways, but a gift in so many other ways. I thought I was always helping the disabled, but at the end of the day I found they were helping me.

So sick, the twist and turns of life, I want to tear my hair out daily and tell the powers that be, the hell with this. However, in early sobriety.... you and others have helped me so much. You sir, have enabled me and given such awesome advice, I truly try to walk and that advice.

Today the sea, tomorrow the city, today the flu sickness, unbearable feelings, feelings that we can't control, tomorrow absolute total unadulterated control right? I wanted to let you know at this time of passing and grief and uneasiness, you taught me that. We always have control how we feel right Dee74? Holy smokes friend, your contribution to this community has given me light, and I want to give you some light.

Fear not friend, I know you will find love peace and happiness no matter where you are, you guide so many, I wish for the powers to be to guide you to except and find purpose in your new life.

In my life, I found the supposed disable, are far more able bodied then I will ever be or can ever hope to be, Dee74 you have helped me immensely and I thank thee for that, but know your struggles and all the strides you've made haven't gone unnoticed. Stay strong, I applaud thee and am an awe, stay strong, you've kept TDG sober more day then you know.
