The Shakes!

Hello All. My hands are shaking again after a short reprieve. Actually, I had tremors when I first gave up drinking. I think my arms and hands began shaking yesterday. What's up with that? 22 days.

The body will take time to adjust, but it might be a good idea to check in with a Dr!!

I went for a monthly check up with my Dr for the first 6 months, just to keep things safe!!

It's probably a good time to talk to your dr. about what's going on.

Unfortunately it's going to take time. I always want to be 100% after a week. It was like that when I was young. I could be in the gym working out for 2 hours after a 4 day break. Now it would take me 4 months of a break.

It may come and go, but with most of the recovery period symptoms the good times get longer and the bad times shorter. Hang in there. I don't know how bad your hands are shaking, but if it's fairly minor, just keep working. Hope that helps.

I too would suggest seeing your doctor if it worries you.

Could be anything, like others said, only a doctor can be sure.
Avoid doctor google it might stress you and make the shakes worst!

Congrats on your 22 days by the way

I had the shakes for quite awhile after I quit. I know it was over a month and it could have be more. There are several people here that have also commented on that, I saw it on another thread.

I also had the shakes for a few weeks after stopping. I noticed it when I would use one finger to click on my ipad. I think they are gone now at 42 days.
