Take several deep breaths. None of your worrying is going to bring him home any faster, it's only going to tie you up in knots. He is responsible for himself, you are responsible for yourself. Now, put your focus back on your recovery. Call your sponsor, go to a meeting, go for a walk, do what it takes to keep your recovery intact.

Hi and welcome capgirlie!
No one, nothing is worth your own sobriety!! You've made an awesome start and have 6 good months under your belt. He's not worth that drink. You know just as well as we do how hard it is to quit, you also know he's not going to do it until HE want's. So I hope you have a means of support in your area.
Please don't let him in if he's drinking and violent, it's not worth your life, saving your heart.
