hello to all
Hey all. New to the site and came to find support from those outside of my current real time recovery support system. I'm a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, sober a little over 3 years. I've found that I'm sick of the meetings in my city lately, which of course, means it's me. I'm sure that many of you out there get the idea of knowing something versus feeling something. That's kinda where I am. I know what the tools look like and how to use them (sometimes) but actually bending down to pick them up and use them has been a struggle lately. I hope to find fresh eyes here.

Believe me your not unique as now I’m working with someone with your feelings. Recently I reminded him of the fact that alcohol is powerful, Cunning and baffling. He identified with his feelings as cunning waiting to pounce on him.

Welcome to the Forum. I've had pockets of sobriety in the past...6 months...then a crash...54 days...then another crash...Back on again...3 days in this time.
I can't imagine what it's like to have 3 years...Again Welcome to SR.
