Wow, that is amazing! I have been drinking heavy for 15 years and can understand how profound your first week is. I have never made it past a month myself but there are many here who have years. If you have time, try to read how they are feeling now because it does seem impossible now, for the both of us, but the hope for a happy and fulfilling life are threads away.. from people who really care and dedicate time to support us. We, and the people in our lives, deserve the best!!
