Just checking in at 67 days. I haven't been around the forum as much in the last week, but have been going to meetings and reading lots. I think my struggles of late have been put back into their proper perspective and I feel on much stronger ground again. For those struggling with the urge to drink, believe me when I say that when I made it through those moments and days, I came out stronger in the end. It's all part of my fight to live a sober life. There were days when I almost threw in the towel, but (luckily) I had little reminders to do the right thing ... and sometimes BIG reminders. Keep fighting the good fight, my sober friends ... we are worth it!
