4 months and 1 day

Milestone. I'm having a lot of dreams about drinking and being intoxicated. More frequent than in early days of sobriety.

Really weird, because i don't miss the buzz and foggy mind.
And not really craving, because there is a bottle of alcohol in my kitchen for about a month and never thought about touching it.

Life was both good and bad, boring and interesting, nothing unmanageable.
Still no better job, still kinda lonely. I definitely should make new friends, but without alcohol it looks like i'm not that sociable.

Great job on 4 Months!!

It'll all take time, it's still early days on the social side of things, keep focusing on your Sobriety and you'll get there!!

Good job on 4 months-I'm 5 months and in the same situation socially. ..need to get out and make some new friends. I don't feel sociable either and I hope that will change with more time. Making sobriety the priority right now.

Way to go on 4 months. Hang in there. Find some activities with people that don't include alcohol.

I had a terrible drinking dream the other night. I dreamt that I went to a wedding, made a fool of myself and puked all over the place. I didn't remember a thing I had done, but in my dream, my husband and my father were furious with me. I will be 10 months sober on Tuesday, so I guess the dreams never fully go away, as least not for a while. It is always such a relief when you wake up, isn't it? This is the first time I said to myself, isn't it wonderful that I never have to drink again? And I REALLY meant it . . . .

Congrats on 4 months WS - building that new sober life is phase two...when you're ready you'll know

Personally I think dreams are just dreams...I still have dreams about high school but it doesn't mean I want to go back there.
