Praying for peace

My daughter's pain can no longer be controlled. Hospice will be here shortly to put her totally out. That will mean no eating or drinking and nature will take it course. She will be in God's loving hands which is the only thing that keeps me strong

MIR, my sister took a similar path in the end. I have heard (any my experience with my sister seems to reinforce this) that "hearing" is the last sense to go; I am convinced that my sister heard what we said to her despite the massive doses of morphine to ease her unbearable pain; outwardly, she appeared to be in a comatose state BUT she gently squeezed our hands at "appropriate" times; keep talking to her.
