National Ice Cream Day

I know ice cream has been an big part of recovery for many of us, so I thought it would be good to post that today (July 20) is National Ice Cream Day in the US. Go ahead and have that 2nd bowl today to celebrate!

My Dad is also a recovering alcoholic and a huge fan of ice cream; I used to be amazed when I was growing up how much he ate. Now that I, too, am a recovering alcoholic....I totally get it now!

I give ice cream it's full due respect and credit in my getting sober. It runs 2nd to SR. Lol
