Welcome OnTheWagon. SR is a great place to find support, and glad to hear you are going to an AA meeting tomorrow as well. What you should expect is a group of people who have exactly the same problem as you that will welcome you.

welcome! It's totally normal, but I promise there's nothing to feel embarrassed or ashamed about! With time you'll see how many great people have the exact same problem. Sobriety is great and will give you something to feel proud of.

Thank you. And hi Ready2beSober. Well done on your 4th day I was going on a hen night tomorrow, which I just *cancelled!!!* today. First time Ive ever said no to a drinking session & told my friends I'm no longer a drinker, long way to go but boy do I feel proud!
