Feels like the weekend is here.

This morning had that kind of feeling even though it's Thursday. I had a really good night's sleep, first in a while. Sleep has been sporadic and broken so I was spending my nights on the sofa. Last couple of nights, I've been moving to the bed after a nap on the sofa. Last night's sleep was unbroken after I went to the bed. Sweet.

Woke to beautiful weather outside so I opened all the windows and let the fresh, cool air in. Did that yesterday and the AC didn't run until late in the day.

Time for some bacon and eggs. Hmmm...toast or grits?

Only Thursday here. I've got a late meeting tonight, and some boob scheduled a meeting for tomorrow already. I'm sure there will be more scheduled too.

I desperately need a (non-drinking) vacation.

I was ready for the weekend last night. Tonight's going to feel like work--I've got a dinner party, at which I'll have to smile incandescently. I admit, i feel more like smiling today than i did last night, though.

Things for me have a way of looking much brighter after a good night's sleep. Just as Trach's all-purpose go-to solution is ice cream, so mine is a good night's sleep! I'm like a broken record on the threads!

that takes me back to my first day i woke up and i noticed the sun shining through my flat window
i thought to myself its going to be ok today and it was : )

the sun seems to make everyone happy at times but it never made me happy as i just locked myself up in flat most of the day if it was raining or sunny but this day i went out for a walk in the sun and i found i enjoyed it
so i included this in my daily living routine i go out for a walk
its so simple
but of course i would come back from my walk and lock myself up again for a while then go out again to my meeting etc

how much i have grown since them early days : )

I think of them as "the Hells". Too many people, most of them from Chicagoland.

I need to get out into the sticks somewhere. The north shore of Lake Superior would be ideal.
