240 hours...no, really!

10 days people , I have never gone this long without one little drink!

My anxiety is down....However I am EXHAUSTED and I am STARVING
all the time. Especially at night. Like my stomach is screaming FEED me!!!!

I felt a little off earlier kinda nervous and I ate and had a Sprite and now I am fine but I could use a NAP zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Should I eat more protein? I have been loading up on Fruits, Nuts, Juice, Vitamins, Rice, Chocolate pudding ( when I wanted sweets ) Herbal tea
Water, Soups

What ya think? <3 :tyou

Great job Trouble!

I let myself eat any and everything I wanted for the first two weeks. I wouldn't worry so much about your diet just yet. Eat an entire German chocolate cake if it keeps away the cravings. That's what I've been doing and I am actually losing weight! Eat whatever makes you feel good and on the right path to sobriety! I am hoping to balance out my own diet around day 30. On day 19 now. Great job!

All that booze was sugar calories. Your body want it. Give it ice cream.

Food, sleep and Netflix. That was my prescription for myself in the first couple weeks.

Oh, and crying at AA meetings. Not that I would recommend trying that part. It was just the way it was for me.

Congratulations on 10 days, that's wonderful! Keep it going! I didn't worry too much about what I was eating for the first few weeks, I figured anything was better than what I was doing before.

Congrats on 10 days! :You_Rock_

Regarding your food question, if you pair up some protein with the snacks you mentioned, it will help to keep you full longer. Hope that helps!

Well done on day 12 and I understand your food cravings, I'm on day 5 and have never had an appetite like this, I ate 2 large plates of chicken and pasta for dinner last night and then a chocolate bar and I've never even liked chocolate until now. I'm trying to do an hours sweaty exercise each day to keep it in check. Congrats and keep going

Trouble1234 07-19-2014 10:12 AM

M88RHM Thanks so much !! Chocolate is quite good huh?!! mmmmm

I need to get int working out , everyday for an hour at least ! I have a darn treadmill here at my place , I started then I stopped and I know that is crucial to feeling better!

Good luck on day 6 ! You can do it :)
