Think My AV is Talking Yet I Won't Listen
So earlier I woke up and didn't really have anything to do. I sat down to play a video game and something seemed like it was asking me "why don't you have a drink?" Well the answer to that is simple, I just plain don't want one. I enjoyed just playing while sober and now I'm watching Americas Haunted Houses because my peak into paranormal investigating is starting to rise again. Feels great to do all this sober instead of being bored and drunk.
Any other time I would drink a couple beers, probably get tired and take a nap and miss out on TV shows I would enjoy. (As stupid as it is to say I'm just watching TV, but its my last day off)
All the threads I've read here have been very encouraging. Since I haven't drank 2 days I noticed I eat a lot. That's OK, I can stand to gain some weight and I love to eat.
Anyways thanks to all on this great forum for the stories and encouragement! My apologies for rambling!

So as the day ends I was thinking, after that first post today I really am glad I didn't listen to that AV. I got to play some games with a nephew from out of town. Helped the wife bath the dog, and I am now watching The Gettysburg Story. Who knows what I would have missed if I listened to that AV. They say the devil is a liar, well the AV is a liar also. I met my wife in Gettysburg and moved closer to Gettysburg so I can go there more often. I love civil war history and the town of Gettysburg. Now I think of the money I save from not drinking that I can use when I go to Gettysburg.
