Day 5!
Day 5!
Feeling quite a bit better.. still lots of anxiety, headaches and digestion issues... But its really nice to not have to reach for a drink to cure shakes to get out of bed!
Nervous about the weekend - trying to plan ahead and find things to do - this will be the first weekend in.... I honestly cannot say how long.. that I will NOT be drinking!

Congratulations on day five. That was always a big one for me. Just making it past day four when the anxiety was past and I figured I could drink again.
The anxiety and other issues will clear up with time. Just remember how you've felt the last five days and realize you never have to feel that way again.
One day, one minute at a time this weekend. You can do it!

way to go 29b, keep hanging on and doing what you must do to stay sober.
I'm going to an AA picnic this weekend. Should be a blast. It's one of the few places where I can be pretty sure no one else is going to be drinking. Perhaps try to find something like that. Tis the season...
