Thats the worst part but hang in there it changes! If you have access to a health food store or yiu kniw somebody who sells essential oils ask them to help you with lavender fo r rubbing pn botyoms of your feet at night. Totally helps me sleep and Ive been at this quitting drinking business for a long time. Onky ghing that has worked really well for me. Dont give up! The sleep will come!

It does get better! I suggest you try melatonin. It's natural and I think pretty effective. It does give you strange dreams, though.

For me it lasted a while - this brain fog and feeling constantly tired that I thought there was something seriously wrong with me, health-wise. If you feel like that, you might want to check with a doc (covering my butt here) but I am pretty positive that *everyone* goes through this the first little while. I am nearing 5 months and it's just beginning to lift.
I was one of the lucky ones where I didn't experience insomnia with my new found sobriety - but rather walking through life half asleep, a zombie, but I knew I needed to be gentle with myself. My body was healing and it just needed a bit of extra rest.
Hang in there.

Day three was my worst. Just know that every day after that brings you improvement. Hang tough!
