Happy Birthday Zeldachan!🎉 Sobriety is the best Birthday Gift you can give yourself. I'm sorry about your friends not showing up but it's really cool that you're here with loads of people who understand. Now make a wish!!!🎁

Happy birthday, Zelda.
Don't worry, I remember reading a similar post here ages ago.
Good way to know what friends to cull in your new sober life. But yeah...maybe if you phoned first to see if they were coming....save the pain, next time.

you're not stupid.... they are inconsiderate.
happy birthday and congratulations on your sobriety!!!!
I know this must really hurt. There's probably something in this experience for you to see, learn, grow. Often our more painful experiences are our more insightful.
That doesn't make it easier, but it can make it productive.
Stick to the sober path and next time, choose a different group of people. Or maybe even just one person. Start there... build anew.

Happy Birthday, Zelda!
I think you've had the most important guest at your party - YOUR SOBRIETY!
You are not stupid.
Keep your chin up!
