Heading for my third one tomorrow! So I am with you!
I personally am trying a hole bunch of different ones. I did find a difference between the first and second group. That's what someone told me here, try until you feel comfortable in the group.
Yay for us!

Thanks all! It is true, they are all different! I enjoyed the first one. It seemed as if it was directed at me as a newcomer! The second was candlelit which was really, really nice. Last night was a speakers meeting where one man told his story and then many responded. I am going to finish out this week and try to figure out how to choose a Home Group. Kind of lost on that process! I am also going to try and make more phone calls! Thanks again friends!

The meeting tonight focused on the 11th Step. As a practicing Catholic, I am good with prayer. But I do not have a clue how to meditate! Is this something simple like deep breathing? Is anyone able to clarify this for me? Also, after 4 meetings, I was asked if I have a sponsor yet! And if I have chosen a Home Group! I will try to get some answers tomorrow when I make my calls. I am still feeling great and very proud of my decision to take this path! Thanks again for all the encouragement! I find myself checking back often! All of your comments are so comforting!
I always felt I was issued the wrong instruction manual when I was born. When I discovered AA I felt like I had a map of where I needed to go with all sorts of points of interest along the way.
I have since come to realize there is no destination only the journey
