I could get used to this...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE waking up NOT hungover. I swear it is a wonderful feeling. I hope and pray (even though I am not a religious person) I can maintain this.

It is a great feeling. So good I worry about losing it. But I am going to AA which I find very helpful and I signed up to go to a 3 day AA conference which I think will be good for me. I don't want to go back to the way I was but I know people stay sober for a while and go back. Or at least I have in the past.

right on!! also, turns out; you don't have to be the slightest bit religious to pray.

In fact, I think it may help your case if you're not.

Yes, sober morning are pure bliss for me as well. Living a sober life is soooo much better. The key for me to work for it and not be complacent. I can't do it on my own I've come to realize.

So very true, snakes! My mornings used to be dreadful (cheap wine hangover are the pits!). Trying to get my lil one ready for daycare was an Herculean task. There were mornings I cried because I could not find his backpack! So messed up!

Today I was clear minded and enjoying every single minute of my boy's routine. Even his toddler tantrums were lovely! Nothing like living mindfully!

Thanks for the reminder! We need to celebrate these great sober moments.

Ya, the world is a more welcoming place when we are able to greet it without a hangover. Rock on!
