Circle the Wagons

Hi, All -

After falling off the wagon several weeks ago, I am back and recommitted to slaying this beast. I think I underestimated the size of the monster I'm facing.

I am ready to be well.

Some of you may remember my last thread. You'd think that after a scary ER trip, that would have been enough to keep me sober. Nope... Went to a birthday party a couple of weeks later, and yep, you guessed it.

I am going to give some meetings a shot this round. I'd like to try SMART, but the closest meet up is over an hour away.

I really like the chat room here as well.

Today is once again Day 1.

Talk to you soon.

Thanks everyone, and stay strong, Tsunami. We can get this done. Those two weeks I was sober, I felt like a human again aside from the expected brain fog, etc.

Hey Powderline - great to see you back and grabbing onto Day1.

Hold onto sobriety and do not let go!

Day 2. Night 1 was rather unpleasant, but I don't think I was drinking long or hard enough this relapse to get some of the serious symptoms I used to get. Serious sweating and chills. BP and heart rate were fine. No hallucinations.

Bring on the new day!
