I have just recently REALLY realized I have been addicted to prescription pain meds. I am excited to begin my new healthy life. And look forward to all of the positive feedback. I am however having a hard time forgiving myself and it seems to be putting a damper on my mood and making me depressed. :a108:

Welcome to the forums. There is nothing we can do about past behavior except not repeat it. Addiction is at times quite difficult to recover from unless we keep trying and not give into the cravings one moment at a time.
Keep coming and read a lot.
