Argh, just lonely

I have been sober for over a year on my own. My husband was sober due to legal reasons. He can now drink and promised it was just having a few beers like others but each time he drinks it gets worse. Especially tonight, got WASTED.
Are we now not compatable? So stressed but no outlet but on here in the middle of the night.

Hi, Jean! I've got insomnia, too.

I'm glad you have been sober awhile. You seem pretty solid and steady in your life patterns now. I hope your husband will see a deterioration in your marriage as a direct result of his heavier drinking, and seek to remedy it.

I hope he will see the advantages to the sobriety he had when he was legally forced to abstain. Maybe he'll see that being drunk is really not as great as he's cracked it up to be, especially if it impacts your marriage.

I'm sure he won't think it's all cracked up to be in the morning. But that's anybody with a hangover.
