Girlfriend is going to come home drunk.

I get it, it's Friday and I can't exactly judge. But she just called and is clearly wasted and I can't be a***d with it. Being sober shows you just how bad drunk people are.

For me I find conversation with people who are drunk very difficult!!

Hang in there!!

How do you think you're going to handle the situation, Ben?

Ive been there Ben and like has already been mentioned theres no reasoning with a drunk person, my ex used to vent her anger at me when drunk and Id retaliate by getting drunk at the first opportunity... a messy situation that I had to get out of to get sober.

Can you just get ready for bed and have an early night? Not very rock n roll I know but hopefully she'll go to sleep and it won't be too stressful for you.

Hey MrBen - I would definitely avoid the trying to have any sort of reasonable conversation with your GF. Waste of time for sure.

Ugh I hate that. Good luck. Maybe she'll just pass out. I hope.

Can you kind of excuse yourself from the situation and maybe go catch a movie? And maybe she will be passed out by the time you get home?

Oh hey guys, I forgot about this thread. Yeah, she came home pretty drunk. How did I handle it? Well, I ensured she ate something and drank a lot of water before she went to sleep so her hangover wasn't too bad. Then I finished watching my movie.
