Thanks all you wonderful folks out there. I'm now feeling better than ever, much better than I've felt in the last five or six years. Looks like I'm going to survive the dog (he's eight years old this August and has been my head nurse).

Did you have a good "Fourth"? Were you able (if in the Eastern U.S.) to survive Hurricane "Arthur"? Reminds me of the movie, "Arthur" with Dudley Moore (playing the feckless drunken, adolescent billionaire) and John Gielgud (the no nonsense but caring man servant). The grand old American tradition of the "funny drunk" (like W.C. Fields). But alcoholism is not "funny".It's no laughing matter. It's hell on wheels, a journey down into the pit. The AV wants to portray it as "funny" but it will rot your very soul.
