I'm new - Happy 4th!
 

I am excited to start my sobriety - "Independence FROM alcohol" someone said. I have tried years ago, kept using for the last 5 years since and am slowly going down the drain and I fully know and admit that i can't control, find a softer way, I just can't pick up that drink. So, i look forward to reading all your posts this weekend. I stayed home from a cabin trip b/c I can't avoid quitting any longer and being home was the wiser choice for me. I'm scared but glad I am in this place finally. Thanks! Happy 4th all!
