I made it through my bar tending shift and my band meeting at a bar without a drink!

Sometimes it does "feel" like I have but I know that there are infinite ways to continue to try and stay sober and that finding the right one is just that.

I am really grateful for Nuudawn's comment and perspective on drinking. Wanting sobriety more than wanting to quit drinking. It has given this struggle a positive twist for me and totally helped me through yesterday. I am going to continue to remember this statement today as I go through my day.
