You really need to get the facts on the situation inside your body.

The "liver area", the upper right quadrant of the abdomen has multiple organs, pancreas, gall bladder, large intestine, small intestine, and yes the liver, so without tests it's very hard to diagnose what is actually causing the uncomfortable feeling.

Without knowing the issue, it's then hard to know what the best treatment is!!

Was your "alcoholic fatty liver" diagnosed by a Dr?

Any concerns should be directed to a Dr, they are the medical experts that can diagnose and treat whatever the issue is!!

I'm not a doctor, hepatologist or otherwise but I've heard cigarette smoking isn't very good for your liver. In some, rare, cases cigarette smoking by itself can lead to cirrhosis of the liver and can advance scarring of liver tissue. Or so that's what I've heard.... May or not be accurate..

Why not get a LFT done and ask your DR for his verdict. Good luck!

you really need to see a medical Dr.
"self-diagnosing" is not the good way to do stuff

Sameer - none of us are Doctors and, even if we were, by our rules we simply can't give medical advice here.

If you're feeling pain, the best thing to do is see your Doctor ASAP

30 cups of tea a day?? WOW! I'd check with Dr. But may be indigestion from all that tea! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sameer... Don't panic!!! The liver is an amazing organ which can take a beating... Obviously go & see your doctor if you are that concerned.. Are you taking any supplements??? Don't think this is medical advice as they are supplements!! No doubt I will get my wrist slapped if it is but I always suffered the same problems but I always used milk thistle, Liv 52 & Purim which are meant to help detox the liver.. But go see a doc!! By the way, if you are drinking that amount of tea, try white tea, has no caffeine in it..

I'm afraid I can't answer that. Haha. It would open up a massive debate on this thread which I'm sure is not needed. Besides, which is worse depends on so many factors it's impossible to say for certain.

I wouldn't worry at the moment about whether or not alcohol is worse than cannabis, you will go round in circles.. Just focus on the issue that you are faced with at the moment and get it sorted out

Hi Sameer , as the others have suggested , see your doctor .

Only your doc can give you an accurate diagnosis and i wouldn't recommend Dr Google either

The liver actually has no nerves so it does not feel pain .

Your diet should be addressed too , cos you really should start with a small breakfast to get your metabolism going for the day .

Try to cut your tea intake to at least half , or was 30 + cups a typo ? Lol

If you are only having dinner and going to bed soon after , that's not good for fatty liver .

Try the juice of a fresh lemon in warm water every morning b4 you eat or drink anything
This worked amazingly well for me , my liver enzymes were almost back to normal after 3 months of this .:-)

Anything bitter is good for the liver , grapefruit , lemons , kale , etc

Good luck , but. Again , your doc is the one to see ;-) these are merely suggestions

Xx
