60 days yesterday
 

We'll I am quite chuffed to say I'm 61 days sober today and I notice that my cravings have really reduced which is great. I am still ever wary of a slip up as it has happened before to me when I thought it would be ok to go back to having 1 or 2 beers occasionally..... This does not work and I am the living proof. I have worked hard to get to 61 days and I sure don't want to slide all the way down to day 1 again!
My mood swings are becoming less and my mind is starting to clear. My ginger beer name is because I find the ginger really calming when I have a craving.
I have started back training at the gym which has been helpful too. I still have many issues with my lonliness as I isolated myself as a drinker and have no real friends however my wife has been a great support for me and I a so grateful for that. I like to read everyone's thoughts and stories on this site as it helps me realize I am not alone in my illness.

60 plus days is huge...good going...yaaaa like me, I do not want or need to go back to day 1.....keep up the great job. Life gets better and the craving get less......
