Johnny needs to get used to living life on life's terms. If he just got out of rehab I would hope he's in an intensive outpatient program to help ease him back into his life along with providing support. Life is such that people will drink around Johnny. He has the choice to request they don't drink or the choice not to be around them. Alcoholics like me like to control people, places and things which the only thing I can control is my actions.
It would be nice and ideal if they wouldn't drink around Johnny but Johnny is going to have to learn how to live his life being sober.
