Be well dear one. Sometimes my body will shut down in order to *force* me to get some rest.

Keep truckin', Dee.

We're all pulling for you here.

Too much good karma here for things not to work out in your favor.

Hope you are warm, resting and up to continue the fight soon.

You know, one thing about my fears over the past few years -- from health to finances to living arrangements to relationships -- just haven't panned out. As much as I feed that damned beast, nurture it, cuddle it, give it all sorts of power, the worthless animal just ain't got no stamina.

I beginning to believe what others say: Fear is a worthless emotion.

Lots of love you way, brother.

Hope you're feeling better Dee. Rest as much as possible, and keep hydrated. I'm a firm believer in helping your body expel whatever bug you have.

Well the latest strange twist is I can move into another unit in the complex...but I'm not sure that's the best for me.

On the plus side obviously I would have security for the length of the lease.

The negatives are it's not as good as the unit I have now, it's the noisier side of the units...there will be workmen noise here anyway....and....it's the same landlord.

I will be speaking to my housing advocate before I make any moves any way.

Money - not only a smooth continued tenancy but no advertising costs etc - and the fact that he can start working on this one sooner I guess.

Well, it's reassuring to know that you're not going to be out on the street; but I can't help thinking there's something better out there...hope the housing advocate has some good news for you!

Hmmm Dee are you sure you wanna settle for less than what you had before :/

You may have the security etc , but do you wanna be on the noisier side and settle for one not as good ?

That's pretty unfair , he's stuffed you around and you deserve better ! I hope your housing advocate gets you an upgrade .. Or similar to what you had , don't settle for 2nd best if you will be there long term xx

Good luck .

Thanks guys

I'm not making any decisions until I speak to the advocate on Thursday.
It's pointless to retain someone and not use them.

Right now though I tend to agree that this offer would be a second best option.

I'm with Snoozy, Midnight and others. I know how sometimes, under stress, particularly with jobs or housing, any offer can seem a good offer when desperate.......logic kinda goes out of the window just for piece of mind. I'd stay, stick to your guns Dee. Fingers toes and eyes crossed that your advocate brings you well deserved positive results............i've actually got about everything crossed except my typing pinkies trying to stay warm, how crazy is this weather, I so wish I was a tortoise!

It's often about money. A similar thing has happened to me as well, and luckily I just switched landlords and everything stayed the same.

Friend, I'm curious, why does this jagmoe want you gone so badly that he is willing to play hardball with the legal system ? I can't imagine you ever being anything but the utmost of respectful and gracious as a tenant.

Is there something you not know about him ? Is he envious of you for some reason ? Do you threaten his ego in some regard ? There must be some factor that is motivating his disdain. And oftentimes, it's not anything we did, but how we make another person feel just by being in their space and challenging their belief system.

Hurting people, hurt people.

Hi Dee ,
glad to hear the homelessness is now of the table and you now have, at the very least, a back up plan if nothing else turns up . I think it's a step forwards .

Keep on

At the very least, it always feels good to have a solid back-up plan. Here's more good juju, Dee ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
