Hello everyone 
Just thought I'd bump this thread as it's brilliant. Was just reading it offline.
Thank you to everyone who messaged me - I'm absolutely fine and thanks to Suze for continuing to include me in the 24 hour thread - I have lived up to it and am still sober and happy
I dont sign in so much these days, but I do read posts and wish you all the love and happiness you deserve (which is loads)

That's just to throw some science in. The essential message of the metaphor remains.

I should have emphasized that I'm not trying to undermine in any way the message of the thread. The thing with parables and fables is to reveal a central truth, and the frog metaphor does this striking ways. Hell, Aesop told many truths in his fables, and these often involved animals speaking to each other.
And, for what it's worth, I've been in the pot and stayed there too long.

Hadn't seen this before, Dee! Glad it was bumped - it is perfect for me to share with the restaurant recovery group I lead. Some amazing people who have just gotten out of the pot will like reading this

IMO some of us frogs are too stupd to know the difference between the two scenerios......thats our problem.
i dont really want to be either frog but it seems I dance between the two.

Just as tragic is the curse will be complete and he'll die a frog instead of being turned back into a prince if he sits there...you know...stewing.
