As Dee seems to often say , what can you do to get more support ?

Sounds like you've added a whole lot

Keep on living, learning, adding and working at it , i'm sure you'll find a way that works for you .

Keep on , m

Pat, it's so good to hear that you're doing well.

Good for you for doing whatever it takes to maintain your recovery.

As you know, I think it's awesome. I am actually going to an AA meeting with my sister tomorrow as she is visiting from out of town and wants to go to a meeting. I do want to check it out (again) for myself...but I have my reservations.

I am such a believer that community is integral to recovery. I find so much of that here but it would be nice to have some face to face stuff additionally. I been bucked off enough times I'm open to anything.

The thing is...er um..I too am stubborn and get really, really uncomfortable when anyone tries to own my recovery so to speak. It's mine..if that makes any sense.

And well...I just don't want to yell at anyone lol.

Patman - I'm so glad to know you've taken this step to give yourself more support & encouragement. If it works for you it makes me very happy.

Hello my friend.

You have have your sister going with you? Yikes! Jump right in to AA, why not is what I told myself.

I had the misconception that I needed to take and accept the hole program.

I go the see fellow Alcoholics that make me feel good. And that's all I need to say about this.
