The last drink I had was on the morning of May twenty-sixth, Memorial Day here in the States. It feels more like Independence Day. This is the longest I've gone without alcohol in roughly a decade. I feel about a million times better. I look better, everyone's been commenting (it helps that I've been going to the gym and eating healthy food). I'm getting out of the house more often, even if it's just sitting on the porch reading and watching my neighbors go by. And I come here to gain insight and cheer. Thanks, y'all!
