Hello and welcome. I'm and alcoholic, too.
Fortunately, it's been three and a half years since my last drink and the struggle has gotten easier. But, I know, I'm one drink away from a drunk and always will be.

Hi flower and welcome! It is my second day here, and the things I have read on here have already helped me. I am starting to feel like I am not alone and that there is hope! You aren't alone either!

Hi and welcome Flower. This site and it’s many forums is of great help when we utilize them. For me I needed to get honest with myself about my drinking and admit I could not drink in safety. I found out that if I didn’t have a first drink I would NOT have to get sober AGAIN.
Recovery is a process that may affect each of us slightly differently but the bottom line is not drinking and it will get better if we let it.
