End of day 6, surprising (positive) effects

Today is the end of day 6 for me. The withdrawal symptoms are gone. And I've noticed some positive effects that I didn't expect.

My mind is so much clearer. I can think better. I feel more like myself again. I feel like me again.

Today I also thought out some strict rules in case I get cravings or other unexpected things. I have ran through every scenario I could imagine and adjusted it to staying sober. And the scenario where something truly unexpected happens, I've added in a lot of calm. The calm I feel because of being sober.

It's going well. I'm happy.

I think it very good to think about staying sober (what to do's) before hand.
I for sure have some tools now that took time to acquire.

Keep up the good fight hj003

Way to go, it's amazing how good it gets once the poison is out of your system. Hope to see you here often!

Fantastic, my first 24 hours or nearly is over but I am really worried to going back to drinking again when it is time for a social occasion. Do I just not go.
