B*gger!!!!!
Drinking more today will only add to the withdrawals, it's best stopping now if you haven't already!! The less alcohol you consume, the less the body needs to adjust to when you quit!!

I really hope you are able to figure out why. In order to learn from relapse and avoid its pitfall in future....we really, really need to know what the heck happened.
I've been following your posts jezza. Really hope you decide on sober passage again tomorrow..or today? Not sure if you're still drinking.

I don't know what other supports you're using besides SR, but perhaps it's time to try something new?
Hi jezza, such is life, you stopped before and you will do it again now. I would not get to hung up on the " day 1 again" stuff, that's like you've not nothing in the bank, you have all those sober days behind you. They count for a lot, its not really about the counting, its about the doing, and you can do it, you have already proved that. Good luck.

If you believe (as I do) that there are two parts to addiction: the physical craving and the mental obsession, then it's not so bizarre. If we only had the physical craving, we could use will-power to stop drinking. Once the body is free of alcohol, there can be no craving. We simply make up our minds never to drink again.
It's the mental obsession which tells you that you can drink safely.
Well done on your resolve to start over immediately; I wish you the best
