Been drinking

Laying in bed, feeling like crap from drinking.

Right now my entire focus is to not drink tomorrow, that's it. There's plenty I could think back on and about, but like I said I'm just focused on tomorrow right now.

Early evening cravings and excuses damn it. Missing proper sleep right now.

Evenings are the worst for cravings, all we can do is focus on the now.
Stay strong.

It's in the past, but you get to decide whether to drink more today or tomorrow!!

You can do this!!

Kys, why not start right now? Why wait till tomorrow? Make the decision to stop, get rid of the alcohol you have and turn things around.

I understand exactly how you feel. There were many days where the depression and self-loathing were unbearable! I felt as though I were the only one. Now I know that there are many people who understand. SR has really helped me that way. The first week I think I was here more than in my life!
Take heart, don't drink, know there are people who are thinking about you right now and want you to succeed.

I'm glad you're here. This is a safe place. You don't have to drink. You never have to feel hungover and disappointed in yourself for drinking again!

Stay close to SR and stay sober. ((Kys))

My most recent binges started with a commitment for a one night drunk, which then turned into another, then another, until I was around the bend and gone in a 24/7 binge-a-rama. Now I try to work it the other way round, I will commit to being sober one day, this day only, and then plan to drink heavily the next day. When I wake up sober the next day, I say, well lets put off drinking again today for this day only, but tomorrow I'm gonna get wasted and stoned out of my mind. So on and so forth. Its worked for going on 120 days sober now. Biggest stretch I can remember.

It's just no fun anymore Kys. Glad you stopped before it turned into a long binge.

Thank you so much everyone. When I wrote this I had already tipped the rest of the alcohol and was in bed. At work now feeling tired of course.

It really isn't fun anymore, gah it makes little sense why I caved but I'm not dwelling. Feeling very determined again and reminded of the joys of sobriety. Have plans to go for a long walk with my partner this eventing to some gardens and will check back in after that.

Thanks everyone

Absolutely no reason to. I'm so glad you're not. It's actually a "tool" of the AV in my mind.
Soldier on my friend.
