Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here at SR. Been on the forum for awhile now, just worked up the courage to post for the first time.

I am a longtime drinker and have been sober for 20 days. This is the longest period of time in over twenty years. I didn't think I could do it and wanted to get a few days under my belt before introducing myself.

I wasn't capable of posting the first two weeks, but honestly wouldn't have made it this long without this forum.

I can only say thank you and I look forward to getting to know everyone.

I hope this drunk can make a contribution.

Thanks, Rachelle. It is encouraging to know I'm not the only newbie here, lol. I have been so inspired by everyone.
I feel strong, though, like we can really do it!
