Thinking I need to come back
 

Hey. Haven't been here in awhile because I've been drinking. Every Thursday and Saturday night. Nothing horrible has happened-yet-but my two "friends" shame and guilt are back now, after last night. The owner of the bar I was at had to drive me home and I smoked some pot in her car and blacked out. I probably made a fool of myself. Who knows, I sure don't.

Thinking about going to a meeting today. Thank for listening.

Welcome back joshlyman. I'd disagree that nothing horrible has happened, drinking and drugging to the point of blackout in itself is a pretty big red flag. And as you said, you don't know what happened.

Many have had those kinds of mornings - and resolve to quit is very strong at first. I think going to a meeting would be a great idea. An even better idea would be committing to stop drinking now, but that can only come from inside you. Are you ready?
